Not to mention domestic violence, poverty and plummeting school standards. It's more crucial than ever to offer our kids positive choices, to help turn them away from violence, drugs and other destructive behavior. It's more important than ever to help young people become productive and healthy adults. And it's more important than ever to show them positive role models and provide extracurricular activities that will help shape them into outstanding citizens.
